Summer learning journey: Day 15



Today is the first day of the last week of the summer learning journey.

    These are some really impressive questions you have created for Dame Suzie Moncrieff, I am sure she would have some really interesting replies to these. Have you ever reused materials to create something, in school or in your own time? I onced designed a bag out of a old cotton pillow case!

    That is a really fascinating idea. The Waikato river is the longest river in New Zealand so maybe it is hiding in there? Did you know that the river starts at Lake Taupo and after a journey of 425km it flows into the Tasman Sea at Port Waikato?

    Well done on creating an acrostic poem, aren’t they fun? I think it is sad that 1.1 million people in China died last year from air pollution, they definitely need to sort out some ways to get this under control. I like how you put in facts about what you learnt in your poem, this means that you are taking the information that you have used and tried to teach others, Kai pai!

    You have done some awesome work Ebony :)
