Writing reflection




This week we are writing about our bread experiment and observation  that we have been doing for the past 2 weeks.

  • The easy part was finding the right ideas to put into my story
  • The hard part was organizing my ideas into paragraphs 
  • My next step is to learn to put my ideas in paragraphs.

Reading reflection



This week we are learning to generate and ask questions about our book then find the answer.

  • Book: Saving poor mans stream
  • The easy part was finding the answers to our questions.
  • The hard part was listening to other peoples answers and knowing which answer was right
  • Next step is to learn to share my answer.

Maths reflection



This week I am learning to problem solve I can use vocab, teamwork,exploring and using talk moves. I need to work on looking for patterns and using a systemic table to organise my thinking.

Reading reflection



This week we are still learning to read for meaning and I think I am getting better and better at it I can understand what I am reading and it is very helpful.
  • Book: An interview with a glass of water
  • The easy part is finding the meanings of the words I don't know
  • The hard part is finding out what the meaning of why the man is having an interview with a glass of water

Maths reflection


This week we were problem solving with teacups and saucers we had to put each teacup and saucer in a four by four table in each rows and columns .

  • Easy part was using the blocks
  • The hard part was putting each teacup in different columns

Writing Rubric


Two days a go I wrote a story about health habits and with that I scored myself using the rubric. 
Here are my scores!!!!!


Pangarau reflection



This week we were trying to make 37 with 10  numbers 1, 3, 5 and 7 and we found it was impossible because odd + odd = Even so then the teacher let us use 11 or 9 numbers and we found out it was possible. Here are my scores for how I went. 

  • The easy part was using 9 numbers
  • The hard part was using 11 or 10 numbers
  • Next step is 12 timetables and division 



Reading reflection


This week I was learning to read for meaning we read this book about the secret life of estuaries it was about where the streams and the ocean meet. 

  • The hard part was finding out how the estuaries work
  • The easy part was understanding the text
