Summer learning journey: Day 2

  1. Kia Ora Ebony,

I’m Dani, a blog commenter who works in the Kaikohekohe cluster for the Summer Learning Journey. It is great to see you back blogging again for this year’s Summer Learning Journey!

That’s really cool that your Oscar group went to go and see Tane Mahuta, during the school holidays. I remember when I was in Primary School, I loved going to the School Holiday Programme because I got to play with my friends instead of staying at home. What other trips did you go on when you went to oscar?

I definitely agree with you about the uniforms. I really like how they have used the ferns in a different way. I have never heard of the Ice Fernz before, what sport do they represent New Zealand in?

Well done on working out the maths problem for the bonus question. Did you use a calculator or work it out yourself? We have a cactus at my house and we find that it is easier watering it once a week rather than tiny amounts everyday. If we watered it everyday I think we would give it too much water very quickly!

    Blog ya later!
    Dani

    1. Kia Ora Mahuta, the Summer Learning Journey is set up in days and weeks as each week has a theme. But you can complete as many activities as you like, in any order you like. I know some bloggers prefer blog before Christmas or some people prefer to work through it day by day so they have activities to do over the whole holidays :)
